We Can Be The Dream Leadership Training

During the week leading up to the event, student leaders will participate in the We Can Be The Dream Leadership Training, held at Dunbar Magnet Middle School. Through discussion and practice, students will cultivate various leadership skills including: how to identify prevalent issues impacting their communities, best practices for relationship building, fundamentals of community organizing, strategic planning and campaign development, and strategies to facilitate advocacy and direct action.
